EPP Debbie Maddy Shimo Fabric Hexies: 42 Precut 1-inch hexagons + papers
๐ธ 42 precut fabric hexagons from the out of print and rare Debbie Maddy colection, Shimo. These hexies are from Debbie's third shibori collection, which is very hard to find.
๐ธ These hexies have a measurement of 1.28 inches per side (1 inch finished) cut from this Debbie Maddy fabric collection.
๐ธI used my Accucut Studio to die cut these hexies as well as 42 paper templates from acid-free cardstock.
๐ธThe templates are a nice balance between sturdy and flexible. The result is a set of hexies and papers that were accurately cut, that will help you produce precise results.
๐ธ You will receive 2 to 3 of each of the fabrics in this collection for a total of 42 hexies and 42 paper templates.
๐ธ The fabrics in this collection are prints reproduced from indigo-dyed shibori fabrics produced by Debbie. The prints vary from medium light to dark indigo, with paler blue and white accents. They would go well with any of the other Debbie Maddy fabrics I have in my shop, or with Kona snow or white hexies.
๐ธ Debbie created the original fabrics used to create this collection, using the techniques of Shibori, a Japanese form of tie dye. She bound fabric with thread, wrapped fabric on a pole, or stitched fabric with thread to hide parts of the fabric from the Indigo dye she used to color other parts of the fabric. The results vary from random to geometric.
๐ธ These hexies are intended for the sewist who has more ideas for quilting than time to finish them.
