EPP Debbie Maddy Fabric Hexies: Winter Chill Precut 1 inch Hexagons and papers
๐ธ 42 precut fabric hexagons from the 2025 Debbie Maddy colection, Winter Chill. These hexies are in different shades of indigo from darkest blue to almost white with snowflakes and other patterns originally made using the Japanese tie dye process of shibori.
๐ธ These hexies have a measurement of 1.28 inches per side (1 inch finished) cut from this Debbie Maddy fabric collection. I used my Accucut Studio to die cut these hexies as well as 42 paper templates from acid-free cardstock
๐ธThe templates are a nice balance between sturdy and flexible. The result is a set of hexies and papers that were accurately cut, that will help you produce precise results.
๐ธ You will receive 2 to 3 of each of the fabrics in this collection for a total of 42 hexies and 42 paper templates.
๐ธ The fabrics in this collection are prints reproduced from indigo-dyed shibori fabrics produced by Debbie. The prints vary from dark indigo to palest blue (almost white). They would go well with any of the other Debbie Maddy fabrics I am adding to my shop. I also think they look great with Kona white hexies.
๐ธ Debbie created the original fabrics used to create this collection, using the techniques of Shibori, a Japanese form of tie dye. She bound fabric with thread, or stitched to hide parts of the fabric from Indigo dye. These fabrics were then reproduced by Moda as prints. The results vary from random to geometric.
๐ธ These hexies are intended for the sewist who has more ideas for quilting than time to finish them.
